How to play the Downtown Holiday Deal Hunt game
How to Play
To play, spend $20 at a participating business and ask for a Downtown Holiday Deal Hunt Peel Off card. The location on the back of the card will direct you to the next participating business. Scratch off the foil to reveal what you won!
If you spend $20 at that next business, you get another card and keep playing at the next businesses and so on. The more cards you redeem, the better your chance for one of five grand prizes, including staycations at some of our downtown Reno properties.
Each business’s individual policies and procedures on redemption and administering the game take precedent, such as split-check policy or product value. All alcohol redemptions must be made by someone 21 or over. Businesses reserve the right to refuse service. Terms and conditions apply.
When is the game?
The game starts Black Friday and cards will be handed out through the end of 2020. You have until January 31, 2021 to redeem prizes.
What if I spend more than $20 at a location or have a group?
Only one card will be given per purchase of $20 or more. If you eat at a restaurant with a group, for example, you may split checks in accordance with that restaurant’s split-check policy to maximize the number of cards per table. But if, for example, there is only one check for multiple people, then only one card will be rewarded.
Can I peel the card before going to the business to see what I’ve won?
Yes! Cards will be discarded by staff once they are redeemed.
What if I get the same prize more than once?
That’s awesome, use it! Most prizes are discounts or offers that create variation so you won’t get the same thing twice. You can gift cards to family and friends or to a person attending the business with you. You may not trade-in cards for something different at the receiving or redeeming business.
Can I redeem the cards for their cash value?
No. Prizes are locked in as is.
