Beautification

At the heart of Reno has always been a hub of artistry, creativity, and culture. We are passionate about celebrating the existing artwork in our downtown area and are committed to encouraging local artists to develop new artwork for our city. In doing so, we continue our mission of creating a cleaner, safer, more vibrant downtown Reno. In the summer of 2025, the City of Reno added new renovations to the plaza, including six multi-functional shipping container buildings, more lighting, new furniture and seating, and shade umbrellas.
