Downtown Reno Main Street Program
As a proud affiliate of Main Street America and a designated participant in the Nevada Main Street program—coordinated by the Governor’s Office of Economic Development—the Downtown Reno Main Street Program is dedicated to revitalizing and enhancing the heart of our city.
Our approach follows the nationally recognized Main Street Four-Point Framework—focusing on Economic Vitality, Design, Promotion, and Organization—to create a more vibrant, resilient, and welcoming downtown for businesses, residents, and visitors alike.
Through strategic placemaking, business support, historic preservation, and community engagement, we work to celebrate Reno’s unique character while fostering innovation and future growth. By leveraging public-private partnerships and state-level resources, we enhance walkability, support local entrepreneurship, and create an environment where people want to live, work, and play.
As part of the Main Street America network and with support from Nevada Main Street, we are committed to strengthening the economic and cultural fabric of Downtown Reno—ensuring its continued growth as a thriving destination where history, creativity, and commerce intersect.
