March 16 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The spring season for the AVA Ballet Theatre opens with the classical ballet Peter Pan at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts. Re-staged and re-choreographed by Alexander Van Alstyne, Peter Pan is the captivating story of Peter Pan and Wendy and their adventures in Neverland. Fairies, pirates, and the Lost boys all have starring roles in this fantasy adventure. This classic story is filled with mesmerizing dance, intrigue, and is fun for the entire family.

The composer of the wonderful Peter Pan score, Carmon DeLeone, will be conducting the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra. Mr. DeLeone is the music director for the Cincinnati Ballet.

Outstanding guest principal dancers who have danced in the San Francisco Ballet, Houston Ballet, and Salt Lake City’s Ballet West will preform with the large cast from AVA Ballet Theatre.
