Motor on down to The Discovery for a day filled with hands-on automotive themed activities for car enthusiasts of every age. Join experts from NAPA AutoCare Centers to explore the inner workings of automobiles and the systems that make them go, turn and stop. Here are some of the exciting things happening on this special day:

  • Build and test a race car
  • Do-it-yourself crash testing
  • Wicked Wayz car show
  • Meet Ron Capps, NHRA driver
  • And more car care activities!

Special Appearance by Ron Capps

A this year’s Car Care Day, you can meet NHRA Funny Car driver, Ron Capps. Capps is the second-winningest Funny Car pilot in NHRA history with 72 wins in the category. His 73 overall wins (1 Top Fuel) rank sixth amongst NHRA’s four premier classes. The 2025 NHRA season marks Capps’ 31st year competing in the sport’s professional ranks.
