The first Topgolf Swing Suite plans to open spring 2019 at Silver Legacy Resort Casino in downtown Reno. Topgolf Swing Suite is a virtual reality golf simulator lounge experience.

Topgolf Swing Suite at The ROW will feature four golf simulator bays and virtual games, including the Topgolf target game, Zombie Dodgeball, Hockey Shots, Baseball Pitching, Carnival Classic and other games. The lounge includes plush seating, HDTVs and a full menu of food and drinks.

“Eldorado Resorts and The ROW are committed to bringing the most cutting-edge offerings to our guests and it is with great pride we welcome Topgolf Swing Suite, a global sports and entertainment community that has pioneered this unique and immersive guest experience, to Reno,” Anthony Carano, President and Chief Operating Officer said in a press release. 

PGA Tour pros Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth and Jason Day use the same Full Swing golf simulator technology for their off-course practice.

The entry of Topgolf Swing Suite into the northern Nevada market comes at a time when Reno is experiencing a strong economic upturn, a boost in tourism, an expanded airline service, higher employment rates, increased recreational activities and an emerging food and art scene.

Up to eight people can play, eat, drink and hang out in each bay. The spaces will be available to rent for business and social gatherings, such as birthday and bachelor/bachelorette parties, team building events and corporate meetings.

The games are designed for golf fanatics and non-golfers.

Topgolf Swing Suite is expected to open in spring of 2019 and will be located on the mezzanine level of the Silver Legacy between Rum Bullions Island Bar and El Jefe’s Cantina.

The addition comes on the heels of a multi-year, ongoing renovation project the cost more than $100 million. The renovations include the opening of The Spa at Silver Legacy and the addition of Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

The master plan also comprises renovations to hotel rooms across the three Reno resorts – Eldorado, Silver Legacy and Circus Circus.
