Update: Where to dine in, order curbside food and retail in downtown Reno

Updated May 22, 2020 with new status of Phase 1 business openings.

After a tumultuous two months, Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak ordered Phase 1 reopening at the beginning of May. That means restaurants and retail can open at 50% capacity and nail and hair salons can reopen following new guidelines from the state cosmetology board.

But what does that mean exactly and how can you get food and beverages in downtown?

For our downtown Reno businesses and residents and for people who are looking to get out of the house for a quick bite or need something to get them through the next 30 days, here’s a list of all the places in downtown who are adapting to this new order. Status of dine-in service, take out, curbside and delivery is subject to change abruptly. Google and Yelp hours don’t match most businesses current service hours. Please call ahead for seating, protocol and hours.

Remember, businesses may require you to use their personal protective equipment even if you have your own. There will be lines. You may be turned away if a business is too full or asked to carry out your food. Please be patient with each other as we learn what this looks like. We’re all in this together. Please wear masks whenever practical.
