The Downtown Reno Partnership welcomes Emily Skyle-Golden to its 17-member board of directors. Skyle-Golden will serve as one of two residential representatives on the board.

A former news anchor and television personality, SkyleGolden now works behind the scenes as a writer, director, and producer. 

SkyleGolden founded the Cordillera International Film Festival and the Film Northern Nevada Initiative, which has supported productions in the region for Paramount+, TUBI, Warner Bros., Disney+, Amazon and more. 

Through her nonprofit, the Future Filmmakers Foundation, she mentors underrepresented youth in the art and business of filmmaking.
