To help you out, the Downtown Reno Partnership has compiled a list of some of the best restaurants to get a business lunch. This list is based on convenience, efficiency, affordability and, of course, tasty food.

Wild River Grille

This family-owned and operated restaurant on Virginia Street and the Truckee River is open seven days a week and has been in the Reno area for 12 years. Wild River Grille is the perfect location for any business lunch due to its quick service and mostly non-existent wait times. A large patio area overlooking the Truckee River provides a calming atmosphere for any lunch in the summer and the restaurant’s involvement in the arts and various art functions means you may be treated to a live band performance as you eat.

Wild River Grille doesn’t have its own parking lot so metered parking or parking in the nearby Parking Gallery on Sierra and First streets is the way to go. Wild River Grille validates parking tickets from the Parking Gallery and the short walk from the garage to the restaurant offers fantastic views of the Truckee River.

Wild River Grille offers a wide variety of burgers and sandwiches on its menu of traditional American fare. The shrimp po’boy and portabella and black bean burger are two very popular menu options. A meal for two at Wild River Grille is unlikely to exceed $35 to $40.

Old Granite Street Eatery

Old Granite Street Eatery is all about atmosphere. The bar and the booths are all made of vintage wood and create a very intimate environment, making this restaurant on Sierra and Ridge streets the ideal place for a business lunch. The service is fast and, provided you’re having a business lunch and not a business dinner, the main dining area is usually pretty quiet.

This restaurant offers a wide selection of food and beer both of which are huge perks to ensure the business lunch goes smoothly. Everything is also reasonably priced so those who pick up the tab won’t have to worry about breaking the bank with an average lunch for two costing around $30 to $35.

Street parking along Sierra Street or Ridge Street is the best way to go. At lunchtime, there should be plenty of empty spots in front of the restaurant.

Bab Café

This cozy Korean food joint located on Third Street is a great place for a business lunch due primarily to its food. Almost every entrée served at Bab Café contains a lot of food, often enough to cover lunch the next day as well. The chicken is consistently raved about by customers and the food is served in paper bowls with wooden spoons, both of which can be recycled. The wait staff is very friendly and efficient while also being very knowledgeable about the menu for those who need a bit of guidance.

Lunch for two is also pretty inexpensive as the average cost is around $30. Customers can park on Third Street or sometimes in the small parking lot to the left.

Antonio’s Mexican Grill

Antonio’s is far from your typical business lunch location in terms of atmosphere. Unlike most business lunch locations, which have a relatively quiet and low-key dining area, Antonio’s bustles with excitement, especially during lunch time. This is likely due to its location downtown. This casual, family-owned Mexican restaurant located on Sierra and First streets neighbors the Century Riverside 12 movie theater and the Truckee River, meaning the restaurant is pretty popular. Don’t let the busy atmosphere concern you though. The staff at Antonio’s are true professionals and can get customers their food very quickly.

The margaritas, grilled tacos and guacamole are all common menu items raved about by customers. This restaurant serving Mexican cuisine is a great place for a more casual business lunch and will ensure all customers have a good time. This is also a very inexpensive business lunch as the average cost for two people hovers around $20 to $25. Parking for Antonio’s is easy as the restaurant is located right across from the Parking Gallery parking garage and they validate.

Pho 777

This casual Vietnamese restaurant on Second Street serves some of the best noodle soups, spring rolls and banh mi sandwiches Reno has to offer. While the restaurant is usually packed on weekends, a low-key business lunch in the middle of the work week is unlikely to have any wait time. The main dining area isn’t huge but, once again, that shouldn’t be a problem for a business lunch. The staff is very friendly and very quick and do all they can to provide an authentic Vietnamese dining experience for the customer. Pricing is very reasonable with a lunch for two averaging around $20. There is very little street parking available out in front of the restaurant, however, during lunchtime, customers are likely to find nearby street parking.

Thai Corner Café

This restaurant on Sierra and Second streets offers authentic Thai cuisine and sushi in a very casual environment. Thai Corner Café offers one of the best business lunch experiences in Reno due to its friendly and attentive wait staff, full bar with a flat screen TV and very short wait time. The food is incredibly tasty and there are plenty of spicy options for those who like a little kick in their meal. The casual environment with good service is what makes Thai Corner Café the ideal business lunch location. Thai Corner Café has very reasonable lunch specials, making an average lunch for two cost about $25 to $30. Metered parking is probably the best way to go when parking here but the Parking Gallery parking garage is also located nearby.

Wild Garlic Pizza and Pub

What better way to do business than over a pizza and a beer? This pizzeria located on Virginia Streetnear the Pioneer Center for Performing Arts offers a very quick dining experience at lunchtime and provides customers with delicious pizza and cold beer at affordable prices. This restaurant provides the ideal environment for a comfortable lunch and can help to establish a positive business relationship. Pricing is pretty standard for an average pizzeria, with a typical large pizza costing around $20. As always with restaurants located right in the heart of downtown Reno, street parking is the way to go. There should be plenty of available parking spots outside of Wild Garlic Pizza and Pub around lunchtime.

101 Taiwanese Cuisine

An easy-going Taiwanese eatery such as this one on Fifth and Nevada streets should not go unnoticed by those looking for a place to engage in a casual business lunch. The efficient wait staff ensures an authentic Taiwanese dining experience and the wait times are practically non-existent, especially during the work week. The speed at which customers receive their food makes this restaurant ideal for those who are looking for a quick business lunch before heading back. 101 Taiwanese Cuisine also offers a wide range of pearl milk teas, teas made with milk and typically containing tapioca balls. Pricing is fairly reasonable with an average lunch for two costing about $30 to $35. Unlike many restaurants on this list, 101 Taiwanese Cuisine actually has its own parking lot.
