Boots’ Honky Tonk is officially opening its doors, and we’re launching the season with a full-immersion country night in the heart of Downtown Reno. Step inside our neon-lit, completely enclosed heated pop-up at Locomotion Plaza and experience a warm, lively winter country atmosphere unlike anything else in the city.
Opening Night Lineup
5:00 PM – Doors Open
Kick off the night with our country DJ, drinks, and free line dance instruction from High Desert Country. Whether you’re new to line dancing or already know your steps, they’ll have the whole room moving together.
7:00 PM – Live Performance by Jakota Wass
Northern Nevada favorite Jakota Wass takes the stage.

A Carson Valley native with deep Western roots, Jakota brings powerful vocals, undeniable charm, and the kind of stage presence that fills rooms across Northern Nevada and Lake Tahoe. From childhood performances to playing the legendary Bluebird Café in Nashville, he’s built a loyal following that shows up wherever he goes. Catch this rising star in an intimate, high-energy setting inside our heated pop-up.
