Record Street Brewing releases signature beer to benefit Truckee Meadows Firefighter Foundation
Record Street Brewing, an anchor in downtown Reno’s emerging Brewery District, announced released a signature Scottish style ale in honor of, and to benefit, the Truckee Meadows Firefighter Foundation.
“Before anything, I’m a firefighter,” said Record Street Brewery Founder and CEO Jesse Corletto. “This cause is near and dear to my heart. It’s a career that’s supported my family and my goals with this brewery. It’s an honor to be able to give back to the community that’s supported me over all of these years”
“Flowers of the Forest” is a Scottish-style ale inspired by the bagpipe anthem often played to honor firefighters. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the sales of the beer will directly benefit the Truckee Meadows Firefighter Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to assisting the region’s community, its members and their families during times of serious illness, injury or loss through financial and humanitarian aid.
“The level of support they’re bringing us will help us broaden our reach and help so many more families when they need it most,” said Truckee Meadows Firefighter Foundation President James Brumfield. “The Record Street team’s generosity is honestly still hard to wrap my head around.”
The signature beer is now available on draft at the brewery. A release party with the foundation will be held July 23 at Record Street Brewing. The public are invited to attend. It will also soon be distributed across Northern Nevada at all locations that sell Record Street Brewing beers.
