DRP: Have you been to Reno before? If so, do you have a favorite thing to do downtown on your off day? If not, what are you most looking forward to in the downtown area?
Rae Davenport: It’s my first-time visiting Reno! I’ve been very fond of getting time to appreciate the landscapes and nature that are in each city. So, I’m looking forward to spending some time at the Riverwalk and checking out Rancho San Rafael Park. It’s also imperative that I get pics at the Reno Arch downtown.
DRP: What is the best part about visiting so many places as part of your job?
Rae Davenport: It’s really lovely to see a more close-up view of my country. It’s my first time in most of the states we visit, and I love seeing all the intricacies of each city. The architecture, the beautiful landscapes, and even the different types of fast food that are available. I love learning what makes each place unique.
DRP: You have an impressive resume of shows and characters you have performed as. What is the best part of performing in Pretty Woman?
Rae Davenport: Well, this is my very first national tour, which is a big deal for me–Big, HUGE. It’s been on my performer bucket-list since I was a little girl seeing the tours that came to my hometown.
DRP: What would you say to somebody who hasn’t been to a musical before as to why they should attend this show?
Rae Davenport: This is a fun story, loved by so many, brought to new life with punchy songs that will have you dancing in your seat, and also inspire you to remember, “What’s your dream?”
