Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be on a culinary cooking competition TV show? All the lights, camera, pressure, creativity, competition and food? Well, now you can see for yourself and have that experience right here in Downtown Reno. Located in the Reno Renaissance, R\LAB is an innovative culinary incubator and special-events space available to the public showcasing special events such as, birthday and holiday parties as well as real and simulated cooking competitions and demonstrations. During your event, you can watch the chefs up close, as they explain each step of prep, cooking and plating. Then, you get to eat what they’ve prepared. Downtown Reno Partnership Executive Director, Neoma Jardon, sat down with Reno Renaissance General Manager, Vicki Savini, in the former Johnny’s Rocket’s space to get a behind-the-scenes look at this unique and fun space in the heart of Downtown Reno.
