What to do for Spring Break in Downtown Reno

With Spring break around the corner, students and families will be in Reno searching for activities to experience something new. Downtown Reno has no shortage of exciting events and activities to offer for all ages and price ranges during the month of March.

March Mania at THE ROW – $60 – $165 per wristband

Kick off basketball season at THE ROW in Downtown Reno for March Mania. Eldorado, Silver Legacy and Circus Circus are hosting events all day from March 17 to 20. Buy a single day pass for $60 that includes unlimited drinks all day. If the party is going all weekend, get a wristband for $165 that includes drinks Thursday-Saturday and Sunday comes free with purchase. The wristband also allows you to watch the game from any casino bar in THE ROW. 

Tour de Brews – $12 per person

Head down to The Brewery District in Downtown Reno for the Tour de Brews on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17). Visit more than 17 bars and businesses and find special St. Paddy’s Day drinks while seeing live Irish music. Don’t worry about a ride this year, Pineapple Pedicabs has partnered with Tour de Brews this year to provide unlimited pick-ups/drop offs with a special add on ticket. A portion of the proceeds from the night will go to 2022’s Northern NV Celtic Celebration.

An Irish Night Out – $55 per person

In the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, Pineapple Pedicabs will be providing rides for “An Irish Night Out” all of March. This ride experience will take you through Reno to the best Irish bars, with stops at Lucke’s Saloon, Filthy McNasty’s, Corrigan’s Lost Highway and Ryan’s Saloon & Broiler. Rides go from 2 to 7 p.m. with rides starting every 30 minutes. Tickets are $55 per person.

Reno 500 NASCAR Exhibit – $15 per person

The Automobile Museum has unveiled a new “Reno 500 NASCAR Exhibit” where a lineup of seven famous NASCAR cars are housed till the end of April. The museum is open five days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission is $15, children 5 and under are free.

Glamourous in Green St. Paddy’s Day Drag Brunch – $20 per person

If you’re looking for a way to start your day off right, Whitney Peak’s Café Whitney is hosting a “Glamourous in Green St. Paddy’s Day Drag Brunch”. On March 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. come see some of Reno’s favorite Drag queens put on a show while enjoying green drinks and more. Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased by tables of 2, 4 or 6 with bar seats and VIP available for parties of 12. Arrive no later than 11 a.m. and don’t forget to wear green!

Reno Axe & Social – $27 per person/per hour

Need to get rid of some pent-up energy? Reno Axe & Social is the place to go. This social gaming bar combines games, craft beer and axe throwing to provide a space for friendly competition. Lanes for axe throwing can be booked online for two or more people at $27 per person/per hour.

The Discovery Museum Stargazing – Free

The Discovery Museum in Downtown Reno is dedicated to providing exciting opportunities for learning and discovery. On Saturday, March 12, head to the museum’s parking lot for a special night of guided stargazing with Tahoe Star Tours. Admission is free for all and the night goes from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
